How do I pay for a Pay Later order?

Once your order has shipped, you'll receive an email letting you know your due date, amount due, and how to pay. Pay online: The quickest and easiest way to pay! You can make a payment by clicking the payment button in your email or by logging in with your email address on klarna.com. If logging in directly through klarna.com:

  • Select “Log in” from the top right of the page, then enter the email address associated with your order.
  • We’ll then send you an authentication email.
  • Click the “Log in” button in your email and you'll be redirected to our payment site.

 

Once logged in:

  • Select “Pay Now” from the home screen.
  • Click “Pay with Bank Account” or “Pay with Card.”
  • Enter your Credit/Debit Card or Bank Account information.
  • Click “Confirm Payment.”
  • For your convenience, you're also able to save a card or bank account in the “Payment Settings” section of your account.

 

Pay by phone:

  • Call Customer Service and pay with one of our representatives.

Pay by check: To pay by check, please include your account number in the memo section and mail it to: Klarna Inc. DEPT CH 17129 Palatine, IL 60055-7129

 

How do I add or update a card or bank account connected to my Klarna account?

To add a card or bank account:

  • Log in on klarna.com.
  • Select "Payment Settings" from the drop-down in the top right of the page.
  • Choose "Add a card" or "Add a bank account."

You're able to have one card and one bank account saved at a time. Please note, you must use a bank account to make an online payment on your credit account. To update an existing card or bank account:

  • Log in on klarna.com.
  • Select "Payment Settings" from the drop-down in the top right of the page.
  • Click "Remove" next to the payment method you would like to delete.

Once removed, you're able to add a new card or bank account.

 

Have you received my payment?

If paying online or by phone, we'll send a confirmation email to the address used on your order. You can also view the status of your payment by logging into klarna.com. For check payments, you can view the status of your payment by logging into klarna.com.

 

When will my payment post?

Payments made by 8:00 pm EST will post the same day. Payments made after 8:00 pm EST will post the following day. You should expect funds to clear your bank account within 1-3 business days.

 

How do I turn off automatic payments (AutoPay)?

To turn off automatic payments (AutoPay), log into klarna.com and follow the below steps.

  • Select "Payment Settings" from the drop-down in the top right corner.
  • Click the button next to "Automatic payments for Klarna Credit on."
  • Select "Turn Off Automatic Payments."

 

Can I schedule automatic payments (AutoPay)?

You can schedule automatic minimum payments for Klarna Credit accounts. To turn on automatic minimum payments (AutoPay), log into klarna.com or the app, and follow the below steps.

  • Go to your profile settings and select "Payment methods".
  • Select "Add a bank account", enter your bank account and routing numbers, and click "Confirm."
  • Once your bank account is added, click the button labeled "Autopay."
  • If enrolled successfully, the "Autopay" button will turn "green".

By enrolling in automatic payments (AutoPay), you'll pay the minimum payment due automatically on the 25th of each month. If you have a "No Interest If Paid In Full" purchase, additional payments may be required to avoid paying interest on your purchase. Please note, you must use your bank account and routing numbers to make an online payment on your credit account.

 

I received an error when trying to make a payment. What do I do?

Insufficient funds - We'll email you letting you know the payment was declined. Please contact your financial institution if you receive a message about insufficient funds. Invalid account - Make sure you've entered the correct routing and account number when making a payment. Don't worry, if you make a mistake we'll notify you! You'll receive an email notification if your numbers are entered incorrectly. To resolve this issue, simply re-enter the account and routing numbers in the "Payment Settings" section of your account. Technical error - Try the steps below if you encounter a technical error when trying to make a payment:

  • Close and reopen your browser.
  • Use the most up-to-date browser version.
  • Clear your cookies.
  • Make sure you aren't using a restricted network; such as a work connection. Sometimes these networks prohibit certain transactions.

Email not received - If you haven't received your statement or login email, try checking your spam folder and following the "technical error" steps above! If you're still experiencing issues, please contact Klarna Customer Service.

 

When is my payment due?

Pay over time - If you chose to slice up your payments, your monthly payment will be due on the 26th of each month. We'll email you on the 4th letting you know your statement is ready. Pay later - Once your order has shipped, you'll receive an email with your due date and a link to pay. You'll have up to 30 days to pay, depending on what was offered at checkout.

 

Will I receive payment reminders?

Yes. Whether you chose to pay later or slice up your payments, Klarna will send you a payment reminder by email two days before payment is due.

 

How do I make a payment on my credit account?

You can view your orders, make payments, and manage your account by logging into klarna.com. Pay online: the quickest and easiest way to pay!

  • Log in and select "View credit account."
  • Select "Make a Payment."
  • Choose the payment amount.
  • Click "Continue."
  • Select "Confirm Payment."

You can also turn on automatic minimum payments (AutoPay) in the "Payment Settings" section of your account. Please note, you must use your bank account and routing numbers to make an online payment on your credit account. Pay by phone:

  • Call Customer Service and pay with one of our representatives using your bank account and routing numbers.
